Sri Lanka, March 20 -- Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena expressed appreciation over the Microsoft's contributions to Sri Lanka's digital infrastructure development in general and to the education and social benefit spheres in particular. He stated this when a top delegation headed by President of Microsoft India and South Asia, Puneet Chandok called on him at the Temple Trees in Colombo on March 19.

Mr Chndlok briefed the Prime Minister on Microsoft's journey in Sri Lanka for the past two decades, focusing on the milestones achieved, investments made, and the overall impact on the local economy, technology sector, and societal benefits.
