Sri Lanka, Feb. 3 -- Former Health Minister and current Environment Minister Keheliya Rambukwella was arrested yesterday (2) evening by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in connection with his alleged involvement in the procurement of substandard immunoglobulin medicine case.

He was arrested after several hours of questioning which lasted till the evening at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) premises following his arrival to provide a statement yesterday morning complying with a Court order issued on him on Thursday (2) to appear before the CID premises over the alleged importation of substandard immunoglobulin vaccines.
