Sri Lanka, Feb. 2 -- The bribery case filed against Minister Keheliya Rambukwella and former State Printing Corporation (SPC) chairman Jayampathi Heenkenda, in the Colombo High Court, was on Wednesday fixed for February 16 for Court to deliver the order regarding preliminary objections.

The case was taken up before Colombo High Court Judge Damith Thotawatta on Wednesday.

The defence had previously raised objections over the case stating that the allegations cannot be pursued further against their clients.

The Colombo High Court had served indictments to two accused including Minister Rambukwella alleging that they caused a loss to the government by using Rs.230,000 from State Printing Corporation funds for a private mobile phone for the ...
