Sri Lanka, Feb. 26 -- The Japanese Embassy hosted guests at the Ambassador's official residence to celebrate the 64th birthday of the Japanese Emperor. The ceremony was an occasion to strengthen the friendship between Japan and Sri Lanka held on Wednesday (21).

Prisons and Constitutional Reforms Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe was the Chief Guest. He was joined by a gathering of

Cabinet and State Ministers, MPs and other dignitaries. Japanese Ambassador to Sri Lanka Mizukoshi Hideaki expressed his appreciation for the presence of the guests and emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and promoting mutual prosperity.
