Sri Lank, Feb. 9 -- Education Minister Dr. Susil Premajayantha said in Parliament yesterday (08) that the government has decided to continue providing interest-free loans from the State Banks to the students studying in Horizon Campus and KIU.
The Minister said this in response to an oral question by Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa.
The Minister said that the relevant Cabinet paper is being prepared and it could be submitted for the approval of the Cabinet within the next two to three weeks and the relevant institutions have been requested to provide opportunities for the children who are currently studying in those institutions to continue their studies.
