Sri Lanka, Feb. 21 -- Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera told Parliament yesterday (20) that he will work to reduce the electricity bill by a greater amount than previously mentioned.

Proposals were taken from various parties regarding reduction of electricity bill. After considering all those proposals, the proposal prepared by the Electricity Board will be submitted to the Public Utilities Commission tomorrow or the next day. The minister added that the price can be revised accordingly.
