Sri Lanka, Feb. 14 -- Sri Lanka's national cricketers wore black arm bands for the third ODI against Afghanistan to pay tribute to the late Trevor Rajaratnam, the former Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) administrator.

Rajaratnam, who was a former Vice President of SLC, also served as Treasurer.

"Sri Lanka's cricket fraternity remains indebted to him for the valuable services he rendered for the game in the country," SLC said in a media statement.

"We wish to express our condolences to Trevor's family, friends, and relatives at this moment of sadness," the statement also read.
