Mumbai, March 26 -- Precious metals speculators did not show any change in their net long positions in the Gold futures markets, according to the latest Commitment of Traders (COT) data released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The non-commercial futures contracts of Gold futures, traded by large speculators, hedge funds and retailers, totaled a net position of 201602 contracts in the data reported through March 12, 2024, unchanged from the previous week. It is noteworthy that in the prior week, the net speculative longs had seen a spurt of 10309 contracts pushing net speculative longs to a two and half month high.
