Mumbai, Feb. 8 -- Copper is attempting recovery from a three week low on Thursday morning in Asia tracking firm equities overnight. The S&P 500 climbed 40.83 points or 0.8 percent to 4,995.06 and the Dow rose 156.00 points or 0.4 percent to 38,677.36, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq jumped 147.65 points or 1.0 percent to 15,756.64.Meanwhile, dollar index pulling back from 104 mark and LME copper inventories have dipped to lowest in nearly five months are also supporting the red metal. COMEX copper futures are quoting at $3.75 per pound, up 0.41% on the day.
