Srinagar, March 24 -- Indian army had no role in the seminar on Uniform Civil Code (UCC) scheduled to be held at University of Kashmir on March 26, which has now been cancelled. The seminar was organized by Kashmir Jurists.
It has been learnt that that Army had nothing to do with the Legal Awareness Seminar, "Navigating legal frontiers: Understanding Indian Penal Code 2023 and the quest for Uniform Civil Code".
The one-day long seminar on UCC was scheduled to be held at the auditorium of University of Kashmir in Srinagar on March 26.
The legal awareness seminar was being hosted by Kashmir Jurists and the army had no role in it. The army was only providing logistic support.
