India, March 14 -- Within a month of revealing the ID.7 Tourer, its sporty version has now been unveiled - the ID.7 GTX Tourer. While the ID.3 GTX gets the brand's most potent electric motor, the ID.7 GTX Tourer is the most potent Volkswagen wagon ever built. Thanks to the all-wheel-drive setup, the sporty version of the brand's first electric wagon makes 335bhp. In comparison, the regular ID.7 Tourer develops 282bhp and 545Nm of peak torque from a rear-mounted electric motor. Speaking of powertrain specifications, the German carmaker's first electric performance wagon uses dual motors - one on the front axle (107bhp) and another on the rear axle (282bhp).
