India, April 25 -- MotoGP returns to Europe this weekend with the much-anticipated Spanish Grand Prix at Jerez, a famous track with plenty of racing history. Even though the latest move was to Portimao, Jerez is still the first stop for the real start of the European season. It has been the site of races since 1987. Jorge Martin is currently in first place in the championship, 21 points ahead of Enea Bastianini, another Ducati rider. A lot of attention is on Martin as he tries to keep his lead at home. Defending champion Francesco Bagnaia wants to repeat his win from last year when he beat Jorge Martin.
