The independent safety agency hasn't disclosed the number or names of cars that underwent the tests. Industry reports, however, indicate that the list could feature some of the most anticipated models, such as the newly launched fourth-gen Maruti Suzuki Swift, Hyundai Exter, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and the Mahindra XUV 3X0. In its maiden round of crash tests, the Bharat NCAP evaluated the 2023 Tata Harrier and the Safari SUVs, which received a 5-star safety rating.
