California, March 5 -- Following massive outages reported by users across several Meta platforms, the spokesperson for Meta, Andy Stone, has said that the issue was "resolved as quickly as possible for everyone who was impacted."

He clarified by saying that Meta was aware of the technical issue and stated that the social media firm apologised for any inconvenience.

Taking to X on Tuesday, Stone wrote, "Earlier today, a technical issue caused people to have difficulty accessing some of our services."

"We resolved the issue as quickly as possible for everyone who was impacted, and we apologize for any inconvenience," he said.
