New Delhi, April 27 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa called for Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's resignation following remarks made by the Delhi High Court over the non-supply of textbooks to 2 lakh students.

"Arvind Kejriwal, if you have even a bit of shame, you should resign immediately after hearing the High Court's remarks," Sirsa said.

Earlier, the Delhi High Court on Friday came down heavily on Kejriwal and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) over the non-supply of textbooks to 2 lakh students.

Sirsa alleged that Kejriwal is "power-hungry," accusing him of prioritizing his personal interests over those of the nation.
