Jakarta, April 26 -- The Women's Empowerment and Children Protection (PPPA) Ministry and Statistics Indonesia (BPS) are preparing for the 2024 National Women's Life Experience Survey (SPHPN) and the National Children and Adolescent Life Experience Survey (SNPHAR).

"SPHPN and SNPHAR are special surveys to obtain information on the prevalence of violence against women and children as well as various other related indicators," the ministry's Deputy for Special Child Protection Nahar remarked here on Friday.

Nahar highlighted that SPHPN and SNPHAR are expected to provide inputs to the government in planning programs and policies for preventing and handling violence against women and children.
