Bogor, W Java, March 29 -- Japan's Chiba University of Commerce (CUC) expressed interest in fostering collaboration with the University of Sumatera Utara (USU) in student and academic staff exchange programs for one semester.

To this end, CUC's International Center Director Takako Hashimoto visited the USU campus in Medan City, North Sumatra, on March 26, 2024, according to USU's official website that ANTARA accessed here, Friday.

Hashimoto was received by USU Deputy Rector for Research, Community Service, and Cooperation Professor Poppy Anjelisa Zaitun Hasibuan during which they discussed the MoU renewal and potential for collaboration.
