Jakarta, April 26 -- Indonesia is keen to further intensify cooperation in the manpower field fostered with Saudi Arabia to expand work opportunities for Indonesian migrant workers, Indonesian Deputy Minister of Manpower Afriansyah Noor stated.

"We hope that the Saudi Arabian government will provide an even broader work opportunity to Indonesian migrants working in the formal and informal sectors in Saudi Arabia," Noor noted in his ministry's statement received in Jakarta on Friday.

The deputy minister made the statement during a meeting with Saudi Ambassador Faisal bin Abdullah Al-Mudi at the Saudi Arabian Embassy, Jakarta, on Wednesday (April 24).
