Jakarta, May 9 -- Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah echoed the Indonesian Government's commitment to continually enhancing protection for Indonesian migrant workers residing in Macau, China.

According to her ministry's statement received in Jakarta on Thursday, Fauziyah visited Macau to meet with Indonesian Consul-General to Hong Kong and Macau, Yul Edison, on Wednesday (May 8) at local time.

"We hope that this inaugural working visit will intensify the manpower diplomacy running between Indonesia and the governments of Hong Kong and Macau, especially to bolster protection for Indonesian migrant workers," she remarked.
