Jakarta, April 24 -- The National Commission on Disabilities (KND) said that gender equality is among the rights of women with disabilities, so the government must involve them in the country's development efforts.

KND Commissioner Rachmita Maun Harahap said that women with disabilities also have the right to participate in activities.

Such activities can range from participating in politics, getting legal equality, a decent living, security protection and social security, as well as education, as regulated by the law.
