Jakarta, April 24 -- Electricity supply and communication services are still disrupted in several parts of Musi Rawas Utara (Muratara) district, South Sumatra, due to the week-long flooding in the area, the National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) said on Wednesday.

The impact of the power supply disruption continues to be felt by those residing in Karang Jaya, Rupit, and Karang Dapo sub-districts, head of the agency's data center, information, and communication division, Abdul Muhari, informed in Jakarta on Wednesday.

The flash floods that inundated the areas following rains on April 16, 2024, also disrupted telecommunication networks in Karang Dapo and Rawas Ilir sub-districts, Muhari said.
