Jakarta, April 24 -- Head of the Indonesian Quarantine Agency (Barantin) Sahat M. Panggabean said that the agency is continuing to accelerate efforts to open up market access for Indonesian agricultural and fisheries exports to China.

As part of the efforts, a meeting with the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC) was organized in Jakarta on Wednesday.

He informed that the meeting discussed technical issues related to barriers to export market access in China. The exports of some of Indonesia's leading commodities, such as fish meal, fresh coconut, durian, and aquaculture products, are still hampered by technical requirements.
