Jakarta, April 24 -- Vice President Ma'ruf Amin shared his experiences in discharging his duties under the administration of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) with Vice President-elect Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

Gibran paid Amin a visit at his residence in Jakarta on Wednesday.

"The Vice President told him (Gibran) about the tasks given by Mr. Jokowi, including those related to Papua, poverty, stunting, and Islamic economy," vice presidential special staff for communication and information, Masduki Baidlowi, informed after Gibran's visit.

He said that Amin told Gibran that the vice president wields no authority to decide and is only tasked with executing instructions from the president.
